In the context of the STEP project, a “single parent” is defined as a person who, regardless of their marital status, is raising a child or dependent alone, without the help of another caregiver, even if there is shared custody.

Our project aims to help 40 single parents from Romania and Portugal to improve their socio-emotional skills, including their self-reflection, attentiveness and management of their own emotions, to improve their ways of communication  and relationships with others through a theoretical online course and 12 practical group meetings.
